Ever wondered how you can properly make money with your personal brand and all your efforts on social media? Well, let me help you in that case as I just had a day where I hit 1,000$ in only one hour just from my personal brand. But how did I actually do that? Well, it all comes down to a solid strategy. And whilst there are many different ways how you can actually monetize your personal brand, I’m going to share with you the exact strategy that helped me.
Now, the strategy breaks down into multiple pieces:
- Learning a valuable skillset (Social Media Marketing is my bet)
- Using that skill to help other businesses get more customers
- Leveraging distribution channels to scale
Learning a specific skill is always the first step when you want to monetize your personal brand with this exact strategy. You need to have something that you can offer in order to create value for other people & businesses. So, what is it that you’re addressing with your content and therefore your personal brand? Maybe you’re an entrepreneur talking about SEO. Then that’s your valuable skill. Now if you’re growing your personal brand as a vlogger or do create entertaining content only but that works out well then guess what your skill is – it’s content marketing or social media marketing because that’s what you’re successfully using in order to grow & scale your personal brand. No matter what it is, you have a skillset and you need to identify and address it.
If that’s done, you can use that skillset in the next step to help other people or businesses. I used my skill of social media marketing to help other businesses worldwide get more customers and with that make more revenue. Now I’m teaching it on YouTube to help other people. Pretty simple, right?
Now, last but not least comes the interesting part. I figured that acquiring customers can be a pretty annoying job. Now, what if you can manage to get customers to come to you? How do you that – well, first up by building your personal brand, it all supports each other. But furthermore, I had a very good experience using platforms such as Fiverr as distribution channels. You offer your services and then attract customers by ranking in them. That way, you can bring customers to you, rather than chasing them yourself and scale to making 1,000$ with your personal brand.
